Team Swinburne welcomes anyone of any year and any degree. We have opportunities for members in all facets of Engineering and Business, including digital media, events planning, brand management, composites manufacture, electrical systems design, and more.
In addition, our Advanced Technology Research and Design program (TS-ATRaD) supports students undertaking their Final Year Projects, coursework related to Team Swinburne, and niche projects. TS-ATRaD is open to students both in and outside of the team, providing opportunities for students to pursue their passions in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Engineering
Our engineering department is comprised of three distinct sections which contribute to the development of our car. Sections include Power & Electronics, Frame & Body (responsible for all Chassis and Aerodynamic components), and Vehicle Mechanics (responsible for Mechanical and Drivetrain components).
Business
Our business department is comprised of four interlinked sections which work to support the team's function outside of car performance. These sections include Logistics Department (responsible for Finance, Events, Sponsorship), and the Creative Department (responsible for Media, Marketing, and Design).
Autonomous
Our Autonomous section looks after the development of our autonomous vehicle, TSAV. They work within the larger engineering team to achieve this goal, and are always looking for enthusiastic and talented members.
